Lean Link Luncheon Event – July 15, 2015
Hi there folks! We are continuing our Lean Link meetings through the summer, and we’re excited to welcome our very own Don Cook for our July session. Don is Business Developer for Express Employment here in Roseburg, and you’ve likely come in contact with him during his regular visits with businesses all over Douglas County. Don is a relationship builder, an amazing creative thinker, and applies these natural skills to practical business applications of process improvement and leadership development.
Don will bring a learning discussion about change management for personal development and business improvement. Behavior and habit change is not easy and doesn’t happen overnight. Change is difficult and actually can be tracked biologically in a person’s brain…it’s called neuroplasticity…as the pathways to the new behavior are carved and the pathways to the undesired behavior begin to erode. Don will teach us some of the keys to implementing change and sustaining it…after all, it’s expensive to train people to work in a new way only to have them revert to old patterns when the going gets tough!
We work hard to structure our sessions to bring our attendees tools they can put to use right away, and this session definitely meets that standard!
We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, July 15 at noon in Elmer’s Vineyard Room.
P.S. As always, please let us know if there are specific topics you would like us to cover. Email these suggestions to: Kristi Smith Consultant (OMEP) firstname.lastname@example.org.
