LeanLink Luncheon, March 18, 2015

Hi there folks! Our meetings have become quite interactive, and we’ve enjoyed some good discussions regarding needs in our workplaces. Part of the reason our group exists is to share what we do well and what we struggle with as we strive to be the best at what we do…our Lean Link group is a forum that supports those discussions and helps us all drive toward better business practices and helps our businesses become more robust.

In response to February’s discussions, our March meeting will feature Mark Zerbach from Your Kitchen and Bath. Mark is a former Boeing Engineering Manager who successfully implemented Operational Excellence principles in his Engineering Departments through an intensive effort toward changing the culture that governed their work behaviors. Mark will lead a discussion on the following:

·         What’s required to support a culture change

·         How implementing Operational Excellence in Engineering and Sales can help improve production

·         Actionable steps you can take to get started in your company

You can check him out on LinkedIn here, https://www.linkedin.com/pub/mark-zerbach/66/119/633

We’re meeting on Wednesday, March 18 at noon in Elmer’s conference room. We’ll see you there!

As always, please consider sending any requests or suggestions for discussion topics or training to: Kristi Smith Consultant (OMEP) ksmith@omep.org.
