|State Economic Development Developments Oregon Prospector, the State of Oregon’s industrial land database has been relaunched. In addition to an extensive industrial land and building inventory, the website provides access to GIS-based data on workforce, demographics, and business census information.WorkSource Oregon and the Oregon Employment Department are hosting a series of regional discussions to seek industry input on a possible system-wide redesign of the Oregon public workforce system. These sessions are dialogues on how the State can deliver high value services to customers and how to connect qualified workers to employers.

Building Materials Laboratory – Open House
OSU is introducing the Multi-Chamber Modular Environment Conditioning (MCMEC) system for accelerated weathering and thermal testing of full-scale building materials. This unique equipment was funded by the Murdock Charitable Trust, Oregon BEST, and OSU. On April 30, there will be an MCMEC demonstration, poster session, and laboratory tour.
