Industry Tour-Presented by Umpqua Community College SBDC and The Partnership

Fall 2013 Industry Tour: October 8, 8 AM to 3 PM: Visit local wood products manufacturers and see the transformation of a raw log to a finished building project. We will tour Nordic Veneer, Roseburg Forest Product’s Engineered Wood Products plant, and VT Industries. Each of these companies is an industry leader and the tour will focus on their continuous process improvement efforts. Register here.

Healthy Forests, Healthy Communities is a non-profit organization supporting Congressional action on a comprehensive and permanent solution to restore the health of our rural counties and federal forest lands.They are working to build a contact list of folks for this grassroots effort.  For more information, visit the website:www.healthyforests.org .
