Roseburg, Oregon May 15, 2013
A coalition of economic development organizations, including the Umpqua Community College SBDC (Small Business Development Center), the Partnership for Economic Development in Douglas County, and the Umpqua Business Center, will present the second annual Douglas County Entrepreneur Fair on May 22 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
An exhibitor hall will provide an opportunity for business service providers to share information on their products and services. Exhibitors will include:
Business Oregon; Anvil Northwest (formerly Creative Images); Express Employment Professionals; ODOT – Office of Civil Rights; Watkinson Laird Rubenstein Baldwin & Burgess; Umpqua Business Center; The Partnership for Economic Development in Douglas County; Umpqua Small Business Development Center; Premier Insurance; UCC Entrepreneurship Club; NeighborWorks Umpqua; and Seven13 Studios.
Educational seminars will take place at 1, 2, 4, and 5:30 PM. The full program is on-line at: www.dcefair.com . Highlights include Trevor Mauch leading a session on how to actually use mobile marketing to generate customers; a session on how to get bankable by Gary Gray (formerly with Premier West); an introduction to small business tax issues by Tom Davidson (Neuner, Davidson and Cooley); and a panel discussion on business opportunities with Carolyn Hill (Southern Oregon Visitors Association) and David Mack (Sandy’s Place).
This year’s keynote speakers will be Wild Friends’ founders Keeley Tillotson and Erika Welsh (featured on ABC’s Shark Tank) and Ninkasi Brewing’s Nikos Ridge. Ninkasi Brewing will provide samples of their product to fair participants.

Admission will be $5, payable at the door.
